Sammivik is a health communication agency and animation studio in Nuuk, Greenland, founded in 2022 by Mona Koch Madsen – an intensive care nurse and health-systems specialist who previously worked in strategy and planning at Greenland’s Ministry of Health.

Founder & CEO
Mona Koch Madsen
Mona is a healthcare management specialist from Nuuk, Greenland, with extensive knowledge and experience in health systems strengthening. She holds a master’s degree in health economics, policy and management and a master’s degree in intensive care nursing.
Before founding Sammivik, she worked as an intensive care nurse and most recently spent several years as a healthcare consultant in the Department of Strategy and Planning at Greenland’s Ministry of Health.
